ZeroPay

FAQ

Common questions about integrating ZeroPay.

Do you custody funds?

No. Deposit addresses belong to the NEAR Intents settlement layer and settlement pushes funds straight to your configured address. ZeroPay holds nothing.

What does the payer actually pay?

Exactly pay_amount of pay_asset plus the gas of their own transfer. pay_amount reflects NEAR Intents bridge/network costs; ZeroPay platform fee is 0 during the promotion.

Can the payer pay from an exchange withdrawal?

Technically yes — the deposit address accepts any transfer. But then refund_address must still be a self-custodied wallet of the payer, never an exchange address.

What if the payer sends the wrong amount?

Underpayments are refunded to refund_address after the deadline. Always display pay_amount_formatted prominently and prefer wallet-triggered transfers on EVM chains.

What fees apply during the promotion?

ZeroPay does not charge a platform fee during the promotion. Payers still pay wallet gas and NEAR Intents bridge/network fees. The future standard platform fee will be 10 bps (0.1%).

Is there a sandbox?

The live demo page (zeropay.top/test) runs $1 self-payments through the production pipeline — the safest way to see the full lifecycle before integrating.
